Create and Maintain Employee QRG

Introduction

This reference guide provides basic instructions on entering employee/applicant records in the P20 Software. 

 Employee Records Using the Employee Module

  1. Select the New Employee icon to the right of the screen.
  2. Select the Wizard Entry option to open a blank data entry form in a new window. Fill in the fields and Select Finish
  3. OR Select Parse Resume to create an employee record from a resume file stored on your computer. Browse for the file or paste the text and follow the prompts.

 NOTE:  After entering the ZIP code, select a geocode for proper local jurisdiction taxes.

 Add Multiple Employee Records with the Resume Parser Module

The Resume Parser module located in the P20 Front Office can parse up to 500 resumes at a time. 

  1. Select Resume Parser from the Front Office, then select Parse Resume.
  2. Browse to the resume file location, whether on a shared drive or a hard drive.

Add Employee Records with the P20 Connect Portal

The P20 Connect portal is a mobile-friendly platform that is directly connected to the P20 database that allows for the view and input of customer, contact, and employee records. Select Add Employee from the Employee tab to create a new employee record which is then accessible for processing in the P20 Software

Add Employee Records Using the Outlook Add-In

The Outlook Add-in can be used to create employee records within the P20 softwareFor emails received with a resume attached, users can select the email to have the file parsed into the P20 software. This option will create a new employee record and the resume will be saved in the Resume tab of the Hiring CenterSee the Outlook Add-In Quick Reference Guide for detailed steps.
