Introduction
This Quick Reference Guide provides basic instructions for logging into the Workforce Portal to enter and submit hours worked using People2.0 Web Time Timesheets. After your onboarding documents have been reviewed and your assignment has been created in the system, your timesheets will be available in the portal for the current workweek.
All active Associates should have a Workforce Portal login. If you do not know your login details or need the portal access link, please contact your staffing company representative.
Summary of Steps
- 1. Login to the Workforce Portal
- 2. Select A Timesheet
- 3. Enter Hours on Timesheet
- 4. Add Optional Daily Notes or Timesheet Comments
- 5. Submit Timesheet for Approval
- 6. Mobile Friendly – Timesheet Entry
Login to the Workforce Portal
- 1. From a desktop or mobile device (see page 4 for details), go to the Workforce Portal to login by navigating to: https://workforce.people20.net/
- 2. Contact your onboarding representative if you did not receive an email with your login, password, and link. Alternatively, you can use the Forgot password, and Forgot username links.
Select A Timesheet
- 1. Once logged into the portal, select Submit Timesheet from the menu options under Timesheet. The Timesheet selection is visible once your onboarding documents have been received and reviewed and your assignment has been created and enabled for Web Timesheets.
2. There will always be two timesheets listed under “Current Timesheets”: one for the current pay period being worked and one for the future pay period. Select the correct pay period timesheet to enter the hours on the appropriate day.
.
Enter Hours on Timesheet
- 1. Enter the work hours for each day and type in AM / PM where appropriate.
- 2. Use the Quick Save button at the bottom if you are not ready to submit the hours for approval and want to save the hours for later.
TIP: Under the Actions column, use the Copy button to copy time entry rows from one date to another.
NOTE: Timesheets must be submitted on time (per your Employee Handbook, typically, no later than noon ET on Tuesdays) to guarantee pay on Friday.
Add Optional Daily Notes or Timesheet Comments
Adding notes is an optional step. There are two options for adding Notes.
DAILY COMMENTS - Visible to Time Approver: Under the Actions column and at the right of each time entry line, select this icon if a comment should be visible to the Time Approver. Daily Comments are visible by your time approver and can be used to communicate daily items to your timesheet approver.
- 1. Select the Daily Comment icon to the right of the appropriate time entry line.
- 2. A pop-up box will appear, enter the daily comment and select Submit to save the comment.
EMPLOYEE NOTES – Visible to Staffing Company Representative: Located at the bottom of the timesheet, employee notes are used to alert the staffing office of additional information such as future time off requests or general comments. These notes are NOT sent to the Time Approver. The Employee Note section is only visible to your staffing company representative.
Submit Timesheet for Approval
After all hours for the workweek are entered and complete, at the bottom of the timesheet, select the Submit button. This will save the hours you entered and submit them for approval. Once the timesheet has been submitted, you will not be able to make any changes. Please contact your Staffing Company representative to make any changes after Submitting.
Previously submitted and approved Web Timesheets can be accessed by selecting Timesheets, then Timesheet History.
Mobile Friendly – Timesheet Entry
The Workforce Portal is a mobile-responsive website, if using a mobile device or tablet to access the portal, you will automatically be directed to this version of the portal. The menu can be accessed by clicking the hamburger icon on the upper right side of the screen.
